Deborah R. Kidd

Deborah Kidd received her undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and her Juris Doctor degree from Samford University Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama, and her LLM in Entertainment and Media Law from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, California. She is admitted to practice before the Georgia State Bar, The Georgia Supreme Court, The United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia, the Tennessee State Bar, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, the Colorado State Bar, the Wyoming State Bar, the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming, and the Shoshone and Arapahoe Tribal Court.

Ms. Kidd has served our country by serving as a Captain in the active duty military in the Judge Advocate General Corps of the United States Air Force. Within JAG, she served as lead counsel for Federal Labor and Employment Law, engaged in many arbitration and mediation actions, in additional to serving as trial counsel during courts-martial and Article 32 investigations, and as legal advisor and government counsel during administrative boards.

As a civilian attorney, Deborah has concentrated on labor and employment, entertainment, media, medical malpractice, personal injury, breach of contract, and commercial cases for plaintiffs in litigation. Ms. Kidd has worked with numerous financial institutions and businesses involving a full range of commercial issues: bankruptcy, loan default and collection, general business contract and lease disputes, disputes arising from both the formation and the sale of businesses, and corporate dissolutions with court directed audits and accountings.

Ms. Kidd is also an adjunct faculty member with Casper College in Wyoming, where she teaches business law, real estate law, and business organizations and government regulations.
